Beginners interested in learning how to play Go are encouraged to visit any of our regular meetings, where one (or more) of our members will be happy to teach.

Currently the only formal Go class the Triangle Go Group is teaching is at the Chinese School at Chapel Hill. The instructor is Frank Salantrie, assisted by Yueqi Wang.

In years past we have given presentations and lessons at UNC in Chapel Hill, the N.C. School of Math and Science in Durham, N.C. State in Raleigh, the Margaret P. Pollard middle school in Chatham County, and various other locations.
